I had seen this car running around Denver for several years before getting to know the owner pretty well. Years later we ended up in Salina, KS at the KKOA Leadsled show together and couldn't pass up the opportunity to shoot it.
This roadster is a beautiful blend of Dodge vehicles and an amazing display of talent by the builders. It began life as a 1938 Dodge pickup, integrated some 56 Chrysler body parts and slapped on a 38 Ford frame. Powered by a 56 354" c.i. supercharged Hemi and topped with dual 4-bbls this little roadster turns heads and great quarter mile times.
